Important things to note

***Our goal is maintain a 5-star rating on Airbnb. If you need help cleaning or extra time please call for assistance. Do not leave the job unfinished***

We rely on our cleaners to be our eyes. Please let us know right away if anything seems off — fewer wine glasses or forks than usual, unusual odours, a door jamming, a wet spot on the ceiling, or any other issue you notice. Please let us know ASAP

Check-out: 11am
(15-minute grace period — please do not enter until 11:15am.)

Check-in: 4pm
(We use a 4pm check-in instead of 3pm to allow sufficient turnover time. We do allow guests to drop off luggage starting at 2pm though)

– Before entering knock loudly. Open the door slightly and yell “HOUSEKEEPING, HOUSEKEEPING, COMING IN”

– As soon as you enter. Turn all the lights on. Check for missing items and damage. Report any issues immediately to our office at 647 268 9308.

– Toilet paper – replace them when the roll has less than 25% remaining

– Paper towels – put out a new roll when there is less than 25% left. Don’t waste the rest of the roll, use it for cleaning.

– Check each room has 3 remotes (TV, heat pump and ceiling fan)

– Before leaving – Keep the large partition door open, keep all lights on, turn ceiling fans and bathroom fan off

– The dryer in the apartment is ventless. It takes several hours to dry a load. You will need to also use the laundry facilities in the basement. See the Cleaning Manual below for instructions

– Leftover items: If guests leave anything behind, please place it in the basement closet and send our office a photo so we can arrange to return it to the guests

– Tips – You are welcome to keep any tips the guests leave behind. Please message our office letting us know they left a tip. We will thank them for tipping and encourage them to tip again next time.

– Infant supplies: We provide a Pack’n Play, high chair, and baby bath upon request. You’ll find them in the basement closet. Please bring them out when needed, wipe them clean after use, and place them in a recycling bag before returning them to the closet.

– Notify our office when you are about 15 minutes from finishing so we can let the guest know the unit will be ready for them shortly

– If any inventory is urgently running low. Send a message to 647 268 9308 and we will order supplies for you immediately using Instacart or Uber. Let us know if we are running out of something and will need it for next time. For efficiency and cost savings, we do the shopping once a month. Send the inventory list monthly.

Photo Instructions

Take detailed photos or a video of every room. They are needed for proof of cleanliness, damage, and theft.

– Capture all angles.

– Send photos to our office: WhatsApp 647‑268‑9308

Important

– Do not send via the normal Whatsapp photos feature.  It reduces image quality

To send full-quality files:

1. Tap + (attachment button).
2. Tap Document.
3. Tap “Choose Photo or Video”.
4. Select the photos/videos you took.
5. Tap Send.
